About

This is the blog of Misses E and J, who met in the school playground at the approximate age of ten and swiftly formed a friendship that has spanned over a decade. They have succumbed to internet blogging in order to share locations of delicious food, give out and trial recipes, review games and films, and more. Without revealing too many intimate details …

E: generally left to her own devices in her yonder years, her talents are multitudinous to say the least – amongst them: a self-professed food lover, an effortless napper, and a voracious film and TV observer. Whilst being a qualified lawyer, she humbly admits she is a sorely under-qualified blogger – but expects to change that with the advent of this blog. She does not enjoy long walks on the beach or candlelit dinners and she will now refrain from making other descriptions of that kind lest it sound too much like an advert on eHarmony or be misconstrued in that way.

J: has been passionate about the arts and the sciences since she was a toddler. She had to make a choice at the end of high school and decided to pursue a career in science. She recently graduated from university with a B.Sc. (Hons) and is now working in an analytical lab. Is an all-rounder when it comes to hobbies, liking all of the above including playing instruments, yoga and drawing. Despite these crafty, hipster interests she’s not afraid to admit being a geek and loves both video and board games. Also has a strange love for pigs.

TLDR: refer to blog title.

  3. Hi,

I’ve added a new feature so you can publish your blog posts on Urbanspoon yourself without having to wait for us to do it! Here’s how it works:

    – Make sure you’re signed into Urbanspoon.
    – Go to your Urbanspoon blog page (not your user profile): https://www.urbanspoon.com/br/70/12378/Sydney/two-girls.html
    – Click “Edit blog settings”.
    – In the Pending Posts section, click “Edit and publish my pending posts”.
    – Then, enter the “snippet” text, verify the date and URL, and press Publish.

    Please make sure that:
    – The URL should be the permalink to the blog post (not the blog home page, a category page, a post preview, or a service like feedproxy).
    – The snippet should be 2-3 sentences (quoted from your blog post) that gives an idea of what’s in the post.
    – The snippet should NOT include bylines, dates, address info, captions, tags, HTML code, etc.

Note: there may be a delay of 1-2 hours after you post on your blog until our system detects the post.

We’ll give you one week to do it yourself, then it’ll go into our queue to publish.

Thank you for all of your contributions, and let me know if you have any questions.

    Best regards,
    Greg
